How the 6 Percent Platform Fee Works

DayOf charges a 6% platform fee on every booking. Here is how it breaks down:

◆ The fee is calculated on the total booking amount.

◆ It is deducted from the vendor's payout, not charged to the client.
◆ The fee covers the marketplace platform, payment processing through Stripe, and related services.
◆ The fee is non-refundable.

How it works with the payment schedule

Since payments are collected in two installments (50% at booking, 50% seven days before the event), the platform fee is applied across both. The net amount after the fee is what the vendor receives in their Stripe payout.

DayOf may update fees with advance notice posted on the platform. Vendors are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on their earnings.
