How to Manage Multiple Bookings on the Same Day

If your service category allows for multiple events in a single day (for example, officiants or entertainment vendors who can handle a morning ceremony and an evening reception), here is how to manage it well:

Keep your availability accurate.

Make sure your DayOf availability reflects your actual capacity. If you can only take one event per day, block the full day. If you can handle multiple, make sure the timing works.

Communicate clearly with each client.

Be upfront about your schedule. If you have a hard stop time because of another event, make sure your client knows and agrees before booking.

Build in buffer time.

Travel, setup, and unexpected delays happen. Give yourself enough margin between events so one does not bleed into the next.

All bookings must go through the platform.

Even if you are managing multiple events on the same day, every booking and payment must go through DayOf.
